Danfoss managed the cleaning service for both factory and offices in-house using part time evening shift cleaners. Most cleaners were long serving employees who were also employed as production workers in the factory during the day. This process involved protracted, detailed and delicate discussions and negotiations with the cleaners’ representatives and their trade union officials to achieve an outcome welcomed by the cleaning staff, their union, the Client and Glenn. Glenn continues to maintain a close and professional working relationship with cleaners’ representatives and unions to ensure the best interest of all stakeholders.

Due to the successful management of the TUPE process all of the in-house team transferred to Glenn and the client noticed a significant improvement in staff morale. Cleaning standards and service levels quickly improved as Glenn’s highly trained management team rolled out their comprehensive mobilization plan.
