We are pleased to announce that Glenn Cleaning & Support Services is now a Recognised Service Provider, working in partnership with the Living Wage Foundation.
We believe that every member of our staff deserves a Living Wage – an hourly rate set independently and updated annually, based on the cost of living in the UK.
The Living Wage campaign has been running for ten years and has lifted over 45,000 people out of poverty. The underlying principle is simple and powerful: that work should confer dignity and enable families to enjoy at least the basic essentials of life.
Service providers are awarded recognition upon demonstrating their commitment to the Living Wage in their core business, and also to promoting the importance of the concept to their customers.
We are now embedding the principle into our portfolio of solutions, raising it for consideration on every bid we submit to our clients. We inform them of the many benefits of providing a Living Wage while emphasising it at every possible opportunity as an essential aspect of best practice.

With our Service Provider Recognition Award and support from the Living Wage Foundation, we are helping to increase the number of workers enjoying Living Wage contracts. Glenn Cleaning & Support Services is now part of a network of more than 850 responsible employers in the UK who are working to improve the situation of people whose earnings currently fall beneath the low-pay threshold.
